It should be noted that the pick-up site was in a high rise condo in down town Chicago.
On the day scheduled for pick-up, Glen arrived early and performed the removal exactly on schedule which was the most important concern I had as my schedule was very tight and not too flexible. Once Glen arrived I told him that I changed my mind about one rather large piece of furniture that I decided not to move as originally quoted. Glen stated that the amount quoted was probably higher than necessary and charged me about $30 less than the original quote. However, I was so pleased with the fact that Glen was on time, removed everything as planned, and showed genuine professional attention to my needs that I paid the original quote amount. It was worth it!
I highly recommend Art’s Junk and Furniture Removal and as I continue to own condo’s in Chicago I will definitely make Art’s Junk and Furniture Removal my first call when this type of service becomes necessary again.

I cut down 4 large bushes and a small tree in my yard and had a whole lot of work ahead of me if I was going to try to cut and bundle it all. I decided to call around to various trash removal services on a Sunday. I either got voice mail or it was quite expensive to have them come out and haul away the waste. I called Glen and he said he would be at my house in an hour and a half. He showed up when he said he would and quickly helped remove all of the waste. He even took two large pieces of landscaping wood that I wanted to get rid of. I was very pleased with both the price and the fact that he came out so quickly on a Sunday!

My brother died and we had to travel from Connecticut to Illinois to clean out his condo. We were not prepared for what we saw. The condo was piled high with garbage in every room. I called the company to request a quote for hauling a couch. I described the couch and the location (in garage accessible by alley), and Art’s provided a quote over the phone. They showed up when they said they would (shortly after my phone call, as they were in the area), and charged me the amount quoted over the phone. I called Art on a Monday morning. He agreed to meet me at the house at 10 am and he arrived promptly. We agreed on a price for disposing of the debris. Art hauled away all the branches and limbs from a large crab tree that had been cut down, removed brush and bush trimmings, removed old plywood, as well as discarded concrete landscape blocks, landscape logs, & plumbing fixtures. He cleaned up the smaller branches and twigs as well. The job was completed by early afternoon. I would recommend Art and intend to hire him again in the future when the need arises.
I had two old sleeper sofas that NO ONE would take. These guys were here on time, so nice and helpful and even helped me move a chair upstairs to a different room. Highly recommend!
